An extensive programme of events will take place on 11 and 12 November 2016 to commemorate Armistice day at The Hive, Worcester, as part of the Worcestershire World War One Hundred programme.

Events include the screening of the 2013 documentary ‘We Did Our Bit’, Discover History activities and poetry workshops, as well as children’s storytelling sessions focussing on animals from the First World War. There will also be two screenings of the 1916 UNESCO listed film The Battle of the Somme.

The weekend will also provide an opportunity for people from across Worcestershire to share their family’s World War One artefacts, stories and memorabilia with members of the Worcestershire World War One Hundred team.

Event details can be found on the events calendar and the Worcestershire World War One Hundred website.
