'For the Fallen' by Charnwood Great War Centenary Project

The Charnwood Great War Centenary Project are providing free copies of their 140-page full colour book remembering the First World War, Loughborough’s fallen and the town as it was 100 years ago.


How to obtain your free copy – available until stocks run out:

Saturday 10th June 2017, Picnic In The Park, Queen’s Park, Loughborough, noon – 5pm.  Charnwood Arts will have a stand

Wednesday 14th June 2017, Charnwood Great War Centenary Book Launch and Dedication, 2pm – 3pm, All Saints with Holy Trinity Church

Saturday 1st July 2017, All Saints & Fearon Hall Summer Fete, 2pm – 6pm on the Parish Green

Call in at Loughborough Museum

You can reserve, or simply pick up a book by calling in, office hours, to: Charnwood Arts, 31 Granby Street, Loughborough

Books can also be obtained from the parish office contact or call 01509 217029 to reserve a copy.

A limited amount will be available in the church. Check the website for opening times

If you are a school or local history group – or anyone with a special reason – you can ask for multiple copies, to use them as prizes or send to relatives living abroad.
