Passchendaele, Third Battle of Ypres commemorated at the Worcestershire Soldier Gallery

The Mercian Regiment Museum (Worcestershire) has openedĀ a new display in the
Worcestershire Soldier Gallery, at the Worcester City Museum and Art Gallery on
Foregate Street, to mark the centenary of Passchendaele, Third Battle of Ypres and the role
of the Worcestershire Regiment in it.

The exhibition is part of the Worcestershire World War One Hundred programme
Funded through Heritage Lottery Fund, Worcestershire World War One Hundred is one
the largest programme of events across England commemorating the First World War
involving cultural and heritage organisations county-wide until 2018. The exhibition is open Monday – Saturday 10:30-4:30, until 31st October 2017, and is free to visit.
