Follow the fascinating true story of Michael McMahon, from Bonnybridge in Scotland, who became a Prisoner of War during the Battle of Passchendaele nearly 100 years ago.

Michael was captured as a Prisoner of War in Belgium and spent time in three prison camps before being returned to the UK. His story has been recreated by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport using archival images and can be viewed free online.
