Te Papa (Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa) has launched a new project on Flickr. A large number of photographs taken in Wellington during the First World War have been added as a set. Each one has only a surname to identify the soldier in the portrait, and the museum is appealing to members of the public to add in more details.
