The Museum of the Order of St John has started a blog that follows the experiences of Veronica Nisbet, a Voluntary Aid Detachment Nurse. She served at the St John Ambulance Brigade Hospital in √Čtaples, northern France during the First World War.

The blog is part of a project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund that commemorates the role that 45,000 St John men and women played in the First World War. There will also be a learning resource accessible in the museum and online from September 2015.
